The customer wanted rid of the carpet in the family room and the harsh black vinyl in the kitchen and utility. She wanted to tie the 3 rooms together with a laminate flooring for a seamless look and feel.
She took the carpet up before I arrived and I laid a fibreboard underlay throughout the 3 rooms and then protected the underlay overnight by putting the carpet over the top for walking on.
Once all the laminate was down we had to shave the kickboards and chose to make them sit better while we were at it as they weren’t previously supported correctly.
Finally a quadrant edging went down to finish the rooms off.
