Just lately I seem to be doing a fair bit of plastering repair work. On this job, the plaster skim had cracked away from the wall and I was able to remove the plaster all the way around the patio doors in 2 minutes as it literally fell off!
I used 2 coats of PVA on the walls before re-plastering it. It was left to dry for a couple of days and then I went back to paint it in Dulux Natural Hessian vinyl matt which was a close match with the old unknown colours.
